The façade of the Oak Park Branch of the Sacramento City Library, located at 3301 Fifth Avenue, is visible in this 1962 photograph, as taken from McClatchy Park. Operating from 1930 to 1989, the library offered roughly 2,332-square-feet of usable space. At the time this image was captured, the branch was circulating some 98,000 books a year.
