Photograph caption dated December 5, 1957 reads, "Spiritual, intellectual and entertaining readings are included in the 'Faith Through Knowledge' Book Fair collection at St. Joseph the Worker parish school, Sherman Way and Oakdale Ave., Canoga Park. The two-day event is being held through 9 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, according to Mrs. Edmund Tepper, chairman. Purpose of the book fair is two-fold: to create an active interest in reading for adults and children, and to provide incentive and assistance in building home libraries.
