This California Junior Museum booklet from circa 1955 contains promotional material about the institution and its activities. The California Junior Museum was founded in April 1951 under the sponsorship of the William T. Hornaday Memorial Foundation, the California State Fair, and the Junior League of Sacramento, Inc. The Museum's goal was to "promote among children and adults a better understanding of California's great outdoors, its wildlife, natural resources, and remarkable beauty."
