Description
Photograph caption dated September 5, 1957 reads "Valley Det. Don Sheldon checks shelves loaded with tape recording equipment found in shack at 15416 Monte St., Sylmar, where forger Charles R. Speedie, 51, stored thousands of dollars worth of supplies he obtained by writing his own personal checks. Musical instruments, recorders, photographic equipment and numerous drug store items were found stored in five different outdoor rooms at Valley hide-out."
