Eileen Goudge discusses her novel, “Blessing in Disguise.” She begins by talking about how her book is a story of two women who met when they were children and one girl’s father murders the other. She talks about how her husband is the agent for the estate of Martin Luther King. Goudge describes how she got to meet Coretta Scott King who was an inspiration for the book. She talks about the life of her family, and how her great-grandpa was a murdered train conductor and her great-grandmother was a slave-owner. She ends the interview talking about her next book about New York City Policemen on horse patrol.
