Description
Image of a man, wearing a striped shirt, standing on the beach holding his head with two boats, including a sailboat, in the ocean behind him; the poster advertises the musical comedy "A Soap Bubble" written by Montgomery Phister.
Probable date based on general show history; the play was first put on by Baker & Farron in 1885 and into 1886; by late 1886, Farron's name appeared alone with the show. "Central / Litho + Eng Co / N.Y. / No 440"--text, lower right.
