Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph caption dated June 6, 1964 reads "Stanley Slotkin, left, chairman of the board of Abbey Rents, and Chaplain O. W. Mieger of Pacoima Memorial Lutheran Hospital look over the first 13 of some 50 historical Bible pages Slotkin is donating to the hospital. The pages, some original, some reproductions, are in Latin and German and several date back more than 450 years. They will be framed and posted throughout the hospital, with several on display in the chapel room. Slotkin purchased the Bibles on his travels."
