Description
This sculpture, located at Sacramento's Old City Cemetery, marks the grave of William and Elisabeth Johnston. Johnston served in the state assembly and senate in the 19th century. Johnston's funeral took place at the Clark and Booth Funeral Home at 917 H Street before receiving rites for the dead in the Masonic Temple.
Their residence, Rosebud Ranch, north of Hood is on the National Register of Historic Places.
