An attempt to pull out a 45-foot fishing boat, which ran aground at shore about a mile north of the Malibu Pier, was unsuccessful after lines snapped. Several boats tried to pull "Esposa" back to sea - will try again at next high tide. Photograph dated July 28, 1987.
