Description
The Valley to Vietnam series, produced by Sacramento Public Library, traces the arc of experience of Vietnam era veterans living in the Sacramento, California area. Ron Price served as a mechanic in the United States Air Force, being stationed at Sacramento's McClellan Air Force Base and Bien Hoa Air Base in the Republic of South Vietnam. He also spent time in the field with Special Forces units who utilized Bird Dog spotting planes.
