Description
Photograph caption dated February 4, 1960 reads, "Construction has begun to widen two-lane bridge over Laurel Canyon boulevard at Ventura Freeway in North Hollywood. Councilman Lemoine Blanchard is urging such bridge widening stepped up throughout Valley to ease congestion and reports that insufficient funds were available at time of original construction to make spans proper widths."
