Resting at the corner of Seventh and K streets, in this circa 1910 postcard, is Sacramento's Federal Building and Post Office. The building's foundation was made of granite, reaching 15 feet below street level. Its superstructure was made of a combination of sandstone terra cotta, steel, and brick.
