Photograph caption date stamped March 15, 1958 reads, "Notre Dame High's stellar baseball players with coach Harry Pohl, right, are cooking up some strategy for the visiting Loyola Cubs Tuesday in the opening game of the 1958 Catholic League season. Stars pictured are, left, Roger Willett, who hurled a no-hit, no-run game against John Burroughs earlier this season, and Ken La Pointe, hard-hitting outfielder and all-Catholic League last year. Notre Dame has won six straight practice games this year."
