Photograph caption dated May 15, 1963 reads "E.J. Farley, engineer, follows progress." The article partially reads "Two Valley firms have important parts today in the flight of astronaut Gordon Cooper: one firm made the rocket engines for his Atlas vehicle and the other is tracking his progress in space. The Van Nuys electronics firm of Canoga Electronics Corp. is using Cooper's flight to test its new space tracking equipment." The company is at 15330 Oxnard Street.
