A cloud of air can be seen coming out of a metal nozzle on the end of the hose. She is wearing a light-colored smock or apron over a dark dress. A metal bell can be seen on the ground at center, resting in a wooden frame. Stacks of boxes can be seen behind Mrs. Forbes. A worker in overalls is visible near stacks of barrels in the background at right.
