Description
Connie and Sandra begin the interview discussing the setting of the novel in Los Angeles toward the Christmas holiday, and how typically flying home to the East Coast for the holidays is not an option for one bicoastal family, which decides to host the Christmas party in Los Angeles. They proceed to talk about the various characters in the book and how their lives develop around the upcoming Christmas festivity. Sandra then reflects on her motivation for writing the novel as well as her writing process and the characters that developed before discussing her previous work, writing group, and future projects. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
