Cushman, Los Angeles, 1. Supplementary material reads: "Chernus -- Long Beach. Gold Star Mothers convention. Two negatives show left to right: Mrs. Walter H. Boyd, of Long Beach, who lost two sons in World War II, and president of Gold Star Mothers, welcomes Mrs. Alben Borgstrom, of Tremonton, Utah, who lost four sons in World War II, to Gold Star Mothers Convention, which opened today. Mrs. Boyd holds American flag. Three negatives show: These four mothers have lost a total of ten sons in Armed Forces.
