Reporter: Emery to rw. Assignment: 16 telephone poles down on mile of highway -- East 7th Street eastward from San Gabriel River Bridge, Long Beach into Orange County. 15-16-82-83-30: Like a row of dominoes, these wire-laden telephone poles fell, blocking one mile of East Seventh Street on main highway between Long Beach and Santa Ana. High wind pushed poles over about 2 p.m., 3-15".
