Description
Photograph article dated February 18, 1959 partially reads, "William H. Statler of Northridge has been named to the position of chief advanced systems research engineer for Lockheed's California division. In the new post, he will have responsibility for the engineering departments concerned with preliminary design, aerodynamics, advanced research, and operations research. Most recently, Statler has been preliminary design division engineer."
