Photograph caption dated March 11, 1954 reads, "This group of Studio City and Sherman Oaks property owners are shown organizing to back the proposed State Highway Commission route of the Riverside-Ventura Freeway through Hidden Village and Toluca Lake, and to oppose those asking the freeway be routed along the Los Angeles River."
