Description
Two women are depicted walking in a park. There are large trees, a fence, and stone benches behind them. The woman on the left wears a hair ornament of lace and pink flowers. She wears a light blue off the shoulder dress and looks down to read a letter. Her dress is short sleeved, made of satin, and has a white underskirt and white edging at the neck and cuffs. The over skirt has edges in shallow scallops at the center front, the hem, and the sleeves. The woman on the right wears a yellow bonnet with large red flowers, a yellow and white striped dress and a dark green shawl. The dress has horizontal stripes with a deep v-neck with a blouse underneath in white with a high round collar and long sleeves. The shawl has green and pink fringe. She also carries a purple parasol by a cord in her right hand. Both women wear tan gloves.
