Description
Located on the lawn of the Griffith Park Observatory, the Astronomers Monument, designed by Archibald Garner, honors six of the greatest astronomers of all time: Hipparchus, Copernicus, Galileo, Kepler, Newton and Herschel. Only 3 of the figures are visible at any one time. This view was taken looking from the observatory steps.
