Description
Reagan expresses his affirmations after a dinner meeting and tells Brock she'll be hearing from one Reagan's Finance Chairman, and states his confidence in the work they have yet to do.
RONALD REAGAN GOVERNOR Office of the Governor STATE CAPITOL SACRAMENTO 95814 July 9, 1969 Mrs. Margaret Brock 2220 Avenue of the Stars Century Towers West Apartment 1404 Los Angeles, California 90067 Dear Maragret: I just wanted to say I was very pleased with the results of our June 25 dinner meeting. Your enthusiastic response and support are tremendously encouraging. Before long you should be hearing from our Finance Chairman, Justin Dart, to discuss the program, plans and needs of the Committee for a Greater California. I know, and am grateful, that he and Holmes Tuttle, our Chairman, can count on your cooperation in achieving the objectives of the committee. As I said at the meeting, I believe the work on which we’ve started is only partially completed and that we should see it through to make California an even brighter example of what can be accomplished by a conscientious citizenry. Again, my thanks and best regards. Sincerely, Ron RONALD REAGAN Governor [Transcribed by Mallory Bedford]
