Description
Reagan thanks Brock for her support for his efforts in Grenada and Lebanon. THE WHITE HOUSE
WASHINGTON
December 14, 1983
Dear Mrs. Brock:
Thank you for your expression of support for our efforts in Grenada and Lebanon. Americans have found new pride in our brave, young servicemen who serve in these distant, but vitally strategic, areas of the globe.
I join you in paying homage to the heroes of Lebanon and Grenada. We all must work to preserve and build upon their accomplishments. And we must hold forever in our hearts those who have sacrificed their lives for our country and for the preservation of true peace and freedom.
Thank you, again, and God bless you.
Sincerely
Ronald Reagan

This collection was transferred to Pepperdine Libraries Special Collections and Archives in 2016 from the Pepperdine School of Law, where it had been stored (presumably) since Margaret Brock's death in 1997. A second accession of materials was found in the Margaret Brock Conference Room in 2017 and subsequently transferred to Special Collections.
