Description
Shown in 1935 is the Johnson Rubber Company, located at 1012 Tenth Street. Charles W. Johnson opened this rubber specialty store on September 3, 1931, after running the Purnell stationery store for ten years. Johnson Rubber sold all sorts of rubber-based products ranging from shoes and rainwear to tires and water bottles.
