Title supplied by cataloger.; Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Photograph article dated December 3, 1963 partially reads, "Marty Martz, 12, who lives in the beautiful rolling hills at the eastern end of the Valley, won $25 for his Christmas shopping by just writing a caption for picture. The photo showed some drip standing in the middle of a swimming pool while fully clothed and working at a typewriter. Because I was that drip, I got to present the check. For his caption, Marty wrote, 'Dear Noah: I've decided to reconsider your offer!'" Pictured are winner, Marty Martz and Valley Times writer, Larry Paulson.
