Description: This circa 1995 image shows librarian Wayne Waller sitting at the reference desk at the Sylvan Oaks Branch of the Sacramento County Library. Waller joined the library system in 1974, ascending to the position of branch manager for Sylvan Oaks in 1989. During his time with SPL, the Missouri native served at Central, Arcade, McKinley and Sylvan Oaks branches before retiring in 1995.
