Title supplied by cataloger.; Copy of the letter from Frank B. Putnam, historian, to Alfred S. Lewerenz of Hollywood, thanking him for the photo is included in folder.
Cars are parked by two date palms outside the New Hope Baptist Church at Tenth and California Streets in Long Beach. The church building with bell tower, hip roof, and wood siding, was formerly the First Methodist Church at Fifth Street and Pine Avenue. Photograph dated: May, 1958.
