Description
Lionel Rolfe discusses his autobiography, “Fat Man on the Left: Four Decades in the Underground.” He begins by explaining that he spent his early years growing up in California. He talks about how a PBS television movie was done on his family, and that much of the material was adapted from his books. He discusses the strained relationship he had with his parents, and that it still continues into adulthood. Rolfe describes other books he has written on Los Angeles and other parts of Southern California. He ends the interview by talking about how he began as a journalist for a small magazine company before he wrote novels.
