Description
Two women are depicted standing arm in arm. Above their heads are three white bonnets. All three have ruffles and colored ribbons, one green, one pink, and one yellow. The woman standing on the left faces away and is wearing a blue bonnet with matching ribbon and white plumes. Her dress is green with a crenelated pattern on the hems of the sleeves, the bottom of the jacket, and three rows on the skirt. Her white blouse has a plain collar and is long sleeved. She carries a pink fringed shawl over her elbows. The woman on the right wears a rose pink bonnet with matching ribbon. Her dress is navy blue with many rows of ruffles on skirt. She wears a sheer black mantelet with ruffles on the hem. Her dress has a plain collar and is long sleeved. Both women are holding handkerchiefs in their left hands.
