Description
Four different views of a small graduation ceremony at the William Andrews Clark Library. The library had been donated by William Andrews Clark, Jr., to U.C.L.A. It was built in 1924-26 and designed by architect Robert Farquhar. The students shown in the photos are wearing sashes with the names of different states and cities. View 1: side view of the young men and women wearing sashes, and standing in a line. View 2: front view of the young men and women wearing sashes. View 3: side view of a young woman receiving her certificate. View 4: another young woman is handed her certificate as group watches from the background.
