Description
Photograph caption dated January 15, 1959 reads, "John B. Kelly, left, of Sherman Oaks, chairman of meeting protesting union in action in food strike, tells police officers B. J. Barrett, center, and J. B. Brady about telephone threats to his home warning him not to hold meeting. Officers searched Encino Community Center where meeting was held but found nothing. Plainclothesmen circulated in audience."
