Description
Connie and Amy begin the interview discussing Amy’s experience being burglarized, retrieving her computer work, and losing jewelry with significant meaning to her. They proceed to talk about Amy’s family, divorce, and the alcoholism of her mother before reflecting on her upbringing in Beverly Hills and what she perceived as wealth growing up. Connie has Amy read a passage from the book, and they go on to consider the meaning of the book and its life lessons before discussing Amy’s writing process. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
