Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Opened on June 10, 1938 by the Hollywood Turf Club, Hollywood Park was renamed Betfair Hollywood Park on March 13, 2012. It was a thoroughbred and standardbred race course. The racetrack was closed after the final race on December 22, 2013. Photograph caption date stamped July 13, 1965 reads "Hollywood Park jockies [sic] Alex Maese, kneeling at left, and Jack Leonard offer pointers to Hollywood starlets Mimsy Farmer, left; Marianna Hill, Chris Noel, Joy Harmon, Beverly Lundsford [sic], Julie Parrish and Maryann [sic] Mobley, while kneeling are Mariane Osborn [sic] Pat Priest. The girls join the riders against the Hollywood Park Turfwriters in a charity game Monday as a precede to the Los Angeles Dodgers-Chicago Cubs baseball game at Dodger Stadium."
