Description
Connie and Irving begin the interview discussing the importance of Charles Darwin to history and science, and Irving discusses his background and accomplishments as a writer leading up to his book’s publication. They proceed to discuss Irving’s background as a native Californian, and the history of U.S. migration to the West. They close the interview discussing Irving’s philosophy toward his life and education.
