Photograph caption dated April 17, 1961 reads, "Top winners in the Valley Science Fair, which will continue through Saturday at Millikan Junior High School in Sherman Oaks, are shown with their plaques. Seated from the left are Cleveland High student Sudsy Sautier, 17, 8013 White Oak Ave., Reseda; Michael Bloom, 14, Northridge Junior High student of 19200 Itasca St., Northridge, and Marvin Sirou, 15, 5053 Laurelgrove Ave., a North Hollywood High student. Standing in back is Doug Kinzy, 15, 18212 Nordhoff St., also a Northridge Junior High student. All four youngsters will compete in the regional competition in Ventura on May 8."
