The Valley to Vietnam series, produced by Sacramento Public Library, traces the arc of experience of Vietnam era veterans living in the Sacramento, California area. Eric Kemper went from the baseball fields of Carmichael to the perilous challenge of being door gunner in a Huey "Iroquois."
