Description
A photo of the execution record at Folsom Prison for Ray E. Stokes who was hanged following a conviction of first degree murder. The Remarks section of the record indicates Mr. Stokes was one of six prisoners who tried to escape Folsom on Thanksgiving Day 1927, during which another prisoner was killed.
