Photograph article dated April 6, 1949 partially reads, "Casting for San Fernando's Fiesta Pageant is under way today. People to perform in the historical play will be picked by Charles E. Pressley of Santa Barbara, director. The first fiesta play was produced by Pressley in 1929 and was called the "Prayer of the Padres." He plans to combine that play with one called "Heritage From Spain" into a new presentation of the old story of the missions." Pictured are Charles E. Pressley and Frank Galpin.
