This building is a part ot the Veterans Administration West Los Angeles Medical Center at 11301 Wilshire Boulevard. It was originally built in 1927 and is still in use. Photograph caption dated February 25, 1957 reads "Psychiatric social worker Gene Algee of Veterans Administration Neuropsychiatric Hospital in West Los Angeles helps veteran load belongings into car in front of hospital for trip to private home where patient will live for at least one year under Family Care setup. Algee will visit veteran in new home regularly to evaluate his progress and offer follow-up counseling."
