Description
Caption dated June 25, 1963 reads, "Students at Valley State College in Northridge demonstrate their festive spirit as they prepare for the college's second annual Matador Carnival to be held Friday and Saturday at the school's Zelzah Ave. parking lot. Admission to the event is free, and the carnival is open to the public. Getting ready for the event are John Cagle, 18, of Sylmar, as the bull; Larry Lipsher, 20, of Studio city, as the matador, and Karen Clark, 20, of Panorama City."
