This picture depicts R. Chase, Beatrice Howitt, G.E., William Boyle, Dave Hardy and K. Rogers in Black Canyon, in March 1914. Black Canyon is north of Dominican University in San Rafael, California. Beatrice Howitt was the daughter of Dr. Henry Orton Howitt who practiced medicine in San Rafael, California beginning in 1893. This photograph is from Dr. Howitt's family photo album.
