Description
Volume contains manuscript recipes for Mexican cuisine. The vendor suggests the volume was created by a member of the Rivero family, yet the title page bears the initials "V.R." in the same handwriting as other cookbooks attributed to Virginia Rivera. The physical make-up of the volume incorporates remboîtage and decalcomania, and the manuscript was possibly created at a much later date than indicated on the title page Special Collections & Archives, UC San Diego, La Jolla, 92093-0175 (https://lib.ucsd.edu/sca) Text Binding: repurposed half leather and marbled boards binding, with applied manuscript paper labels Title from label on front cover Mexico V.R
