Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations by an unknown contemporary reader in a 1681 copy of Absalom and Achitophel. Annotations consist of a manuscript key to the characters in the satire on the page facing the title page, as well as marginal notes about the characters' identities throughout the text.
Condition: Bound in 19th century half brown morocco with marbled boards and endpapers.
