H. H. West's daughter, Elizabeth stands in front of a building, while his wife, Mary, and his younger daughter, Frances sit on the steps behind. Elizabeth wears a bow in her hair and holds what may be a melon. Frances wears a bow in her hair and boot. Mrs. West sits sideways on the stair and looks at the camera. There is a small, open suitcase on one of the steps. There are two doors behind Frances and Mrs. West. At the right, there is a drain pipe and a carved design on the front of the building.
Text from negative sleeve: 264. Camarillo, Calif. About 1912. We drove up the Ventura Boulevard one Sunday, and stopped at the school house just past Camarillo and ate lunch on the steps. 2 negatives. Mary A. West. Elizabeth West. Frances West.
