The car is parked on a dirt road in front and to the left of the Elizabeth Lake Hotel & Restaurant. The car is viewed from the side and faces right. Another man standing on the opposite side of the car is visible between the steering wheel and windshield. The hotel/restaurant/general store is viewed from the front and side. Two men sit on benches on the right side of the front patio. The building is covered in signage. A sign on the left side of the building reads, "ELIZABETH LAKE HOTEL." A sign on the building's pediment reads, "ELIZABETH LAKE HOTEL & RESTAURANT LOS ANGELES BR'G CO'S "EAST SIDE" BEER JOHNSON & SON PROPS." On the roof overhang there are two signs, one reads, "C.L. JOHNSON & SON," and the other reads, "HOTEL." On the left front window to the building, it reads, "GROCERIES, TOBACCO, CIGARS, SOFT DRINKS." Text from negative sleeve: 458. Elizabeth Lake.
