Photograph of Harry Schmitz standing next to the driver's side of car, parked along the road on trip to Trinity County. Harry stands at left with his back to the camera. He faces slightly right towards the driver's side of the car. The car is parked to the right of him. It is viewed at an angle from the side and faces towards the left. Gear appears to be tethered to the driver's side door of the car. Someone sits in the driver's seat, but is obscured by the car's frame. They appear to converse with Harry. In the far distance, a mountain rises at left.
