Daly Street stretches across the foreground on an upward angle from left to right. On the far side of the street, Wilson West stands, left-of-center, on the sidewalk. Behind him, a house stands, right-of-center. It is viewed at an angle from the front. A low block wall lines the front edge of the property. Above the wall, a fence encloses the property. A porch sits on the left side of the front of the house and a bay window sits on the right side of the front of the house. Text from negative sleeve: 1681. Los Angeles, California. Lyle [sic] street, now Daly street, Los Angeles. 1. No.518 South Lyle [sic] street, as it looked May 31, 1936.
