Description: Hollywood director William Desmond Taylor was murdered Feb. 2, 1922 and the crime went unsolved. Shown here are the booking photos, front and side, of Arthur Nelson alias Otis Hefner, A former Folsom Prison convict. He was questioned by the police regarding his 'revelations' on the murder case, but his testimony was judged to be contradictory and without value. This is the same picture as 00010918 except that an "X" has been drawn on the photo on the left.
