Description
Photograph caption dated March 20, 1958 reads "Dennis Saunders, 16, recipient of certificate of merit for bravery from Pacoima and San Fernando Coordinating Councils, is named teenager of week by Pacoima Council. Saunders, student at San Fernando High School, rescued three children from fire and pulled two youngsters to safety from wash. His parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Saunders, 10422 O'Melveney Ave., Pacoima."
